Jedi News
posted an image from inside a European Brand Licensing Show brochure,
detailing Disney's plans for the next two years. Among the lineup were
several Star Wars items, including a few that we've already heard about,
including Episode VII and Star Wars Rebels, but also several new projects that are now reportedly in the pipeline:
- Classic LEGO Star Wars games coming to the mobile platform in spring/summer 2014.
- A Star Wars Digital Library, set to launch in fall/winter 2014.
- Confirmation that Star Wars: Episode VII is on track for a spring/summer 2015 release...
- "Darth Vader-themed TV Specials" that will debut in spring/summer 2014.
Could these specials be some sort of "The Story So Far..." type things, filling in the gaps between movies? Or something more elaborate? Speculation abounds...
In any case, Jedi News claims that this report is "confirmed and official" -- of course, until it comes straight from Disney/Lucasfilm, it's probably best to consider this a rumor for now. That said, with an image of the brochure in tow, these Star Wars projects certainly look promising.
