Microsoft introduced a new generation controller for Windows 10 and
Xbox One with the Xbox Elite Controller during its E3 2015 press
conference today.
The Xbox Elite Controller offers a slew of new features, such as hair-trigger locks and improved thumbstick sensitivity. Physically, it features swappable components and a different D-pad. Players can also take advantage of paddle remapping along with button remapping.
The Elite controller is different from the device Microsoft previously revealed. The "new Xbox One controller" is due for release in June, and its main distinguishing feature is a standard headphone port on the base.
