Christopher Judge will be voicing Kratos for the upcoming God of War reboot on PlayStation 4.
Judge, who is well known for his role as Teal'c in Stargate SG-1, appeared on stage during Sony's extended livestream. He also Tweeted out the news late last night.The news was backed up by Kratos' former voice actor, TC Carson, announcing he would not be reprising his role on Twitter. "I am not," he said. "Sony went in a new direction. let em know what you think."
The new God of War is going in a different direction to previous games in the series. Not only is it switching to Norse mythology, Kratos is older, has a son, and some depth and humanity has been added to the character.
