At its E3 press conference today, Microsoft announced Xbox Design
Lab, allowing players to design and order their own Xbox One
controllers. Design Lab will allow buyers to customise the
colours of individual components on an Xbox One controller, as well as
add bespoke laser engraved text.
Orders can be placed through the Xbox Design Lab website, which has not gone live at the time of writing.
Design Lab currently only offers customisation for the new model of Xbox One controller, released alongside the Xbox One S.
According to The Verge, shipping will begin in October, with pre-orders beginning today. Each controller will cost $79.99, with $9.99 added for adding text.
