The next installment in the puzzle game franchise will include 4-player multiplayer.
Ubisoft announced that Tetris Ultimate will release this summer for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and this fall for PC, to coincide with the pervasive puzzle game's 30th anniversary. The developer worked with Alexey Pajitnov, the original game's creator, to create Tetris Ultimate. The newest iteration will include multiplayer for up to 4 players, with several modes: Marathon, Endless, Ultra, Sprint, Battle and Power-Up Battle.
