YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! THE WICKED MAN IS GOING GOING GONE......

Microsoft has today announced that its CEO Steve Ballmer is retiring his position within the next 12 months. He will stay on with the tech firm until his replacement is hired.

“There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time,” Ballmer is quoted as saying. “We have embarked on a new strategy with a new organization and we have an amazing Senior Leadership Team. My original thoughts on timing would have had my retirement happen in the middle of our company’s transformation to a devices and services company. We need a CEO who will be here longer term for this new direction.”

Ballmer has been with Microsoft since 1980, and was the first business manager hired by Bill Gates in the company's fledgling years. He was named CEO in 2000 and helped to usher in the Xbox era when the company entered the games console business in 2001.
Recently, Ballmer has been overseeing the Xbox business at Microsoft, following former head Don Mattrick's departure to join Zynga in July.

This story was broken from Microsoft headquarters by Ballmer himself. In my Mr. Mike's opinion I am very glad about this decision.  I can say I never was a Ballmer man he had in my opinion slowly tried to kill Microsoft and the good talent from with in.  Bill Gates was one of the true visionaries and founders of Microsoft and had kept MS very well working for years, even helping to make the 1st Xbox "even though I didn't care for that system." a major success for years to come.
I only hope the successor to Ballmer is way far from this man's vision and he or she... will have major plans for this stumbling company's further existance years ahead and turning the rutterless ship back to major success, vision, and good will for all Microsoft fans like me and bring us the future like never before!

In note sure I don't like Ballmer at all but now I feel a sigh of relief for the company that I still love and hope that others will understand what I mean. Sorry for Ballmer fans!

The Upcoming JuJu2Cast Audiocast this weekend will start off with Ballmer & Microsoft....Just to warn you : )
