E3 2017: First Details Revealed for BioWare's Anthem

BioWare's next game, Anthem, is an open-world, third-person RPG that's coming in fall 2018.

Players don exosuits called Javelins, each of which have different abilities. With them, players can take out massive enemies, fly, and swim underwater, as shown in the gameplay demo at Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference. Anthem allows players to form squads with up to four people.

 Anthem was first revealed at EA Play 2017 with a short teaser, and BioWare has been planning the game since at least 2014.
