Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition Easy to Patch on PS4 and Xbox One

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition will receive patches post launch on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, according to John Hight, production director for the game.

In articles posted on Playstation Blog and Xbox Wire, Hight talked about how the new consoles allows Blizzard to push through updates and patches easily. Specifically speaking about the PS4, he said:
"One more cool piece of news for PS4 players: the next-gen console architecture makes it much easier for us to offer ongoing patch support for the PS4 version of the Ultimate Evil Edition. This means that as we continue to patch the game on PC, we’ll now be able to roll out related patch content, as appropriate, on PS4 as well. It’ll take some additional time beyond the PC patch rollout, but we’ll get them to you as quickly as possible."
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition launches on both Xbox One and PS4 on August 19.
